We are hiring for our first full time Sales/Growth role (Ottawa Region)
Job Type: Full-time, 6-month term
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM
Work Location: Plantagenet (Hybrid role)
Compensation: $40,000 plus, Annually
Goodly Cloud (http://goodly.cloud/) is a software startup based in Plantagenet, Ontario (approximately 45 min drive from Ottawa) focused on solving a $10B device lifecycle management problem.
This is where you come in. As our first full-time growth hire, you will report directly to the CEO and will be expected to use all the tools at your disposition to generate traction with early adopters. Daily activities will include outreach (cold calls, social & email outreach) as well as nurturing of in-bound leads (education and follow-ups).
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about technology
- Curious and eager to educate prospects
- Known to ‘reply to txt’s, emails and phone calls’ faster than anyone else
- Active on social media
- Comfortable cold-calling, cold-emailing and initiating contact with prospects
- A self-starter with a relentlessly positive attitude who wants to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Desire to work on-site in Plantagenet at least 2 days per week to accelerate learning and work directly with founding team
- Excellent communications skills (written and spoken) in English (French is an asset)
- Post-secondary education
